Lilia Lark Fromm grew up in Nebraska, inspiring a love for Sandhill cranes, prairie songbirds, and wide open spaces. In her artwork, she tries to capture the joy of seeing wildlife and the beauty of nature’s colors. She seeks to connect with nature, spark joy, and nurture mindfulness for the world around us. She primarily uses watercolor, gouache or acrylic gouache, and colored pencil in her work.
Lilia is passionate about using art to connect with wildlife and cultivate a sense of wonder for the natural world. Lilia was introduced to ornithology during her undergraduate studies in hospitality at Cornell University. After a summer working in Yellowstone National Park, she was inspired to pursue a graduate degree studying the psychology of what makes our experiences meaningful. This spring, Lilia is graduating from the University of Washington with a master’s in Marketing (Consumer Behavior). She hopes to pursue a career that combines her love of art and creative expression, meaningful experiences, and nature.
